In addition to the Teenie Weenies, I also collect a large assortment of toys, primarily action figures and/or dolls. My obsession with the very small, see? On the following pages you will see several of my favorite toy collections. This is what I do with them: photograph them in various settings. Enjoy.

"He who dies with the most toys, wins!"

 DC Pocket Super-Heroes®

"When I have grown to man's estate
I shall be very proud and great
And tell the other girls and boys
Not to meddle with my toys"

            (Robert Louis Stevenson)

 Action Figures (5-7 inch)

"The main difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys."

 The Incredible Barbie Castle

"When there remain to thee but two loaves of thy poor dole,
Sell one, and buy action figures to feed thy soul."

(Sheikh Muslih-uddin Saadi Shirazi (paraphrased*) )

 8 inch (primarily MEGO)

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." NOT!
(1st Corinthians 13:11, King James Version)

  Buried Treasure Ice Cream Sticks

"There is a very fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness'. "
            (Dave Barry)

  1/6 scale (Barbie, G.I.Joe, etc.

"Life is worth living, but only if we avoid the amusements of grown-up people.'. "
            (Robert Lynd)

"When they tell you to grow up, they mean to stop growing."
            (Tom Robbins)

"The secret of genius is to carry the spirit of the child into old age, which means never losing your enthusiasm."
            (Aldous Huxley)

"You are only young once, but you can stay immature indefinitely."
            (Ogden Nash)

*of course, as a devout Muslim, Sheikh Shirazi would not have recommended buying action figures, since the depiction of a living creature is forbidden by the Koran. He recommended hyacinths, which do nothing for me.
